i just want to make a correction. i said i had been three weeks and two weeks off twitter and instagram. that was wrong. subtract a week from each. it's felt longer

i went to an art reception maybe on thursday. it was by kirby, i don't really know the area. am rarely there. parking sucked and i got there in the last fifteen minutes but it was fine. pretty packed. it was one of those upscale gallery rooms. a black creative group curated and what not, so it was one of the few times i've been at an art gallery like that and not be surrounded by almost exclusively white upper class people. the art was fine. i didn't really see anything that inspired or moved me. didn't spend much time there
