i overslept. more so than i wanted to

the astros lost last night. it wasn't really close. i'm not sad, just a bit disappointed it ended like that. not going any further into explaining the loss. they were unlucky. the new season starts in a few months. the tickets might be cheaper now that they lost and bandwagon fans will clear out. or not. might try to go to a game

had an awkward interaction while eating dinner with some people. they started talking about religions, which is never a good thing. and one girl started expressing contempt for christianity. and this freshman that was eating with us was really trying to defend herself. it was an awkward mess that i had no reason to be around. i don't have a dog in any religious debate. i think they're all flawed and being less flawed isn't necessarily better. anyway, it was just uncomfortable
