what's with banks not letting other people deposit cahs into your account? they say its some privacy things, but like, god forbid someone tries to give someone else money. don't banks want more money in their accounts anyways? that kind of policy change doesn't make any sense
still haven't worked on those collages
i bought this jacket that looks like it was made out of a flat rug. it has horses and boots printed on it. i thought it looked cool. i wonder if i can still use that forty percent discount from urban. i kept looking for something on their website, but the only thing i even remotely wanted was socks. these white tube socks with a blue and red stripe. those old athletic ones
was that nicki album any good?
i thought i included something in reference to what i'm about to talk about in yesterday's post but it looks like i didn't. anyways, the founder of free press and the music festival i frequent (day for night) has been called out for sexual assault. i never knew the guy, but a couple of my friends were close to him. they seemed more distraught about it. well, more like disbelief. which i understand. they basically grew up with him, and accusations like that create a lot of confusion. i know the festival severed ties with him. idk about free press. someone was telling me that a lot of the people who befriended the guy only to further themselves in their careers or more generally, their lives, turned on him. which, i'm not saying they should be supporting him, but it's kind of apparent that these people were only using him. so, though they're not as bad as the guy, they're not good people either. they're just opportunists. i don't really have two cents for this. if he's guilty, then it's good that he's seeing consequences. sure it sucks for people adjacent to him to have to go through turmoil, but people ought to consider that before they do something shitty. i probably won't hear much more about this because i'm not really going to ask and also because everyone who gets metoo'ed disappears and then get forgotten about after like two months. like, does anyone even know what exactly weinstein has faced since being ousted?
i guess the part i care more about is the music festival. the guy is removed from that entirely, due to the creditors foreclosing on the company that owns the festival (which he was a part of). it leaves the rest of the festival up in smoke. they were just about to start contacting musicians for the lineup when this broke out. it seems they don't have financial backing as of now. i would be sad if that's the way it plays out. if the music festival dies. it was the only one i cared to attend. so i hope it somehow continues, but i can't be sure
