i need people to just admit already that music festivals all kinds suck and the amount of effort and energy you have to put in just to see a few artists really isn't worth it. like, it's fine if you enjoy going to them, but to pretend that being out in the sun all day just to see handful of artists from a less than ideal distance is a really great way to spends hundreds of dollars is unnecessary. this is coming from someone who has gone to dayfornight since its inception

also, in general, i find that trying to get people to stop liking something because you feel there is a moral shortcoming in them for liking said thing is never helpful. moral superiority is bullshit. and trying to tell people to not like something cause you're more woke is dumb. i'm not saying you can't make fun of the thing or say why it's bad and stuff, but to act like you're holy-er because you don't like the thing is ridiculous. people can like whatever they want. you don't have to be friends with everyone. if you can't separate things then move on
