i'm working on some collages for an art show later this month. i'm struggling to find any sort of idea for what to do. i'm reverse-engineering the pieces. by that i mean i started by picking some frames and have cut out the background to fit them. from there i'm gonna see what works best for each one. i have a lot of cut outs from art forum magazines. i have a few national geographics and access to many more. that goes for ephemera in general. i plan on incorporating paper cut outs and crayon/marker/colored pencil, along with the magazine bits. it looks good in my head, whatever it is

i'd been holding on to some lsd that i got for my friend. i spent a large part of the morning debating whether i wanted to take it tomorrow morning, and then get some more to replace it on monday. it seems like the universe heard my thoughts, in some strange phsycic benevolence because my friend later texted me saying he was gonna get it from me sometime soon. which ended up being today. of course i'm not sad or anything, it was just strange that it happened like that

my dog gets really aggressive when people she doesn't know get near the fence. i don't like it. i think she needs to calm down more. when my friend stopped by, i had to tie her up cause she kept growling and barking

i washed my shoes yesterday and they seem to have shrunk. i knew i needed to buy new ones but this is ridiculous. i had finally gotten them stretched out to a point i was comfortable in. gonna have to torture my feet some more to get back to that state
