some resident that lives around the back came to tell me something about the dumpster and how there's always trash around it and that they had cleaned it up and that today there was more trash when she came back. this caused her to feel the need to come and notify me about it. i had set down one box next to the dumpster, so i don't know how there was so much she had to come tell me. she told me to wait til tuesday if it's full and like, i already do that. part of me wanted to be sarcastic but i've been trying to be more honest when speaking, so i shied away from being cryptic. her tone, it wasn't condescending, but it did feel like she thought i was unaware that people lived there. she said that there are residents back there. like i didn't know that. like i haven't known about this building for five-plus years. i nodded and she left
but yeah, i've been trying to cut out the sarcasm out of my speech. i feel that, at a time, i needed it more. in high school and stuff. but now, i find it's more useful to just say what you mean. takes less time. no chance for misinterpretation
