the show opened today and it was a little underwhelming. i feel like we shouldn't be using the same themes each year. people will get bored. i was told that they were thinking about moving the location to another place. off i-45 or something but that it would be too expensive because it would need ac and a new roof. they were telling me the plans they had for the place now. how a wall might be torn down. rearranged. things like that

i woke up late and had to gen an uber. i don't like giving them my money but i did this to myself

some of the people who came to the show talk way too much. like i could tell they were getting annoying, but since i'm not really friends with them, i didn't have to feign listening. kaijah stopped by, which was cool. he said a bunch of stuff about how people i know are living a care free life with art and a bunch of other things. it sounds nice, not gonna lie. living on your own, and making dumb money through art and things loosely related to art, but i just can't see myself doing that. it's just not my scene. it's annoying! just kidding. not annoying. just not appealing (aside from the carefree-ness) that kind of life seems untenable

there was a canister of gunpowder on the table. someone said driving makes you fifty percent more of a man, in jest. i though, you know how bicep muscles are sometimes referred to as 'guns'? has anyone made a protein powder or like overexercise-adjacent product called gunpowder in reference to biceps? might sell a few units if you ask me. if there is a product like that, i'm not gonna look for it. just a funny thought
