the second day was just as busy as the firt. ie. not too much. there's a bbq fest going on today, but there's a twenty dollar admission fee that is separate from any food purchases. doesn't seem like something i want to do

had to watch some driver safety videos and let me tell you, they were not good. got annoyed with them, though if i'm honest, i hit play and then left the room until it was over. was surprised to find i got the certificate even though i failed one of the parts. taking my test finally (hopefully) tomorrow. need to print a certificate first, but the printer isn't working. gonna have to figure this out

the houston library website says, under 'frequently requested items', that they do not carry typewriters. the idea of people showing up to the library and requesting a typewriter? very funny thought. they have reusable bags for sale. i might buy one. if it's canvas or similar to canvas. i don't want a weird polyester one
