getting off at the girard septa stop always reminds me of chicago. when i visited chicago a year and a half ago i stayed somewhere between wicker park and bucktown. my stop off the l line was the western stop. both of these stops are in gentrified parts of their respective towns and both are elevated trains. getting down from the platform, you are greeted by a large mcdonalds "m." had a brief hallucination of it again when in fishtown. i think its also interesting that both lines are blue. the l and the mfl lines share the same color. nyc doesn't have a blue line. does la? i know houston doesn't. interesting why philly and chicago do and not nyc.

saw moonlight again. noticed the change in kevin between him as a child and as a teen this time too. again bothered me, but not as much as the teen to adult one.

been staring at the netflix catalog for about 5 minutes before closing out the browser for about a week and a half now. i still haven't finished mindhunter, which is really good, but i cant force myself to sit down. i tried watching portlandia and the first episode seemed promising but i quickly grew disinterested by the middle of the third episode. it's been sitting there for a while now. i have too many things i want to watch (mindhunter, seinfeld, frasier, etc.) but i can rarely force myself to sit through them. especially now that my hulu has ads.

im registering for classes tonight. gonna be taking five next semester with my days going from starting at 11am to 8am. a rough change no doubt but i don't expect it to be too harsh. will just have to sleep earlier. this girl said she was getting a cat. been meaning to ask her about it. i like cats. theyre independent beings. i think if i could read minds id want to read a cat's mind. what are they thinking when they're just sitting there, staring? when theyre licking themselves? i work with two cats when im home for breaks. they would bother me when i ate my lunch. the orange cat comes up and meows, even sticks her face in my sandwich or whatever im eating that day. does she think i like that? cause i dont. also i know people spray cats with water to discipline them. what do cats think when they see people do that to other things like plants? do they think the plant did something wrong that required rectifying?

a couple years ago i was in dc for a high school trip. im listening to diiv right now because of a friend's snapchat post. i listened to diiv a lot back then. they were on the verge of releasing their second album that november. listened to bent(roi's song) a lot that trip. i was listening to it when google reminded me of that dc trip. i wanted to feel freaked out by how coincidental the situation was but i couldn't.

it was brought to my attention that the rapper amine and playboi carti are weirdly similar to each other in appearance. i hope playboi carti is having a good day.
