i feel i've been neglecting this blog in recent weeks. i've been living a pretty standard life full of routine. work from 10-6 for five days a week. biking to and from for three miles on most days. driving my younger brothers to school at seven in the morning every school day. not really going out much, since i 'retired' from going to concerts and stuff. it's been okay. haven't had the energy to really maintain a steady and timely post schedule. i've enjoyed it. i do think, however, i will be ramping it up in a few weeks. i will be posting on my flickr more. that's a funny thought. no one uses it. maybe that's why i've gravitated there. anyway the link is on my main page, which i sort of linked to on an earlier post. the flickr link isn't there yet (as in when this post goes up) but it will be soon

i logged back on to twitter and it was the same as when i left. like a fever dream. thirty days don't mean anything online. my feature phone came in. just need a sim card. i'm going to download most of my spotify library soon. i tried putting music on my phone through itunes but it does this weird thing where if nothing is playing and you hit the digital play button after swiping up or press the play/pause button on headphones that have that it plays music in you library. which i don't like. i don't want random music to play when i accidentally tap the button cause it happens a lot. so actually buying, or honestly just downloading it, isn't an ideal solution here. i've tried to fiddle with an ipod but i'm not a fan of the multiple device solution either. at least not with the devices i've tried and i'm not going to put more money into it

i have way more faith in zoomers than i do in millenials or whatever the term is for my inbetween/transitional generation. the fact that they make jokes out of things people my age get riled up over is reassuring. take for example xxxtentacion. people my age were either saying that he deserved to die because of his criminal history or that he was an inspiring force for good. zoomers made a fake cryptocurrency called 'jah coin'
