last week, i published an opinion piece in the school newspaper about the 'caravan' and how they deserve better treatment. got a hateful email in response. didn't really faze me, but i did find it humorous. didn't respond to the guy but a friend of mine did. the highlight of the email was when this ~eighty year-old man said that he hopes me or someone in my family is killed my an 'illegal'. that it would serve me right. thought about replying and saying that i house thirty 'illegals' and that i'm giving them all a million dollars, an absurd reply to an absurd email, but i didn't do that. knew better
