i miss talking about joan didion with rae

also, i really liked the two li-young lee poetry books i read this summer. that one long poem in 'rose', was really good. i've been thinking about launching up my vimeo again. there's a video on there of me eating applesauce and i'll probably take that down. i want to use it to, i guess, vlog, but mostly when i have thoughts in my head i feel like sharing. like what this blog is for except there's more time, and unpredetermined amount of time, between each video. i also like the idea of just posting videos of me reading specific things that i like. i guess i could make a sort of best-things-i've-read video that features mutiple readings in one instead of having a separate video for all of them. i recorded one video already, but i don't know if i saved the poem or if i can find it online. i can transcribe it if it comes to that
