these artists came in today and they told me about the project they are working on. they're going up to seattle to go squid fishing. squid have these pores or openings on their skin that react to different sound frequencies. they are planning to manipulate that with sounds and lights and somehow incorporate that into an installation. very weird but cool. coworker said it sounds like torture. they said it didn't work with frozen squid so they had to catch some themselves
