my coworker told me that people have been getting jumped or something in the neighborhood where the art asylum is located (second ward/eado). she said that it's mostly been the people who live in the townhouses. supposedly while sitting in their cars. i told her that it's probably the people who originally lived in the neighborhood. that i totally understood that frustration they must feel towwards these white people who gentrified the neighborhood. she agreed and we kinda laughed about it. she told me to be careful, and that it was good that we're in summer and the sun doesn't go down as fast. i guess that is good. still laughing about white people in their mercedes getting mugged while in their drive way. so funny

i didn't actually go to agora yesterday. i got hungry and went home. i got back in time to watch the rockets lose

i submitted some things to that litmag and i'm hoping at least one of the three things gets accepted. i hope that there isn't a penalty for submitting under two categories. i don't think there is. couldn't find anything about it

saw this one piece for the art show this saturday and was significantly underwhelmed. like, it was not good. i wish i had the audacity to submit stuff like that. maybe it was a kid's? i hope so. would make me understand more
