it's been ridiculously hot these few days. i'm glad i don't have to be outside or by the back as much, but still, when i do go outside it's a blazing. it reached ninety nine degrees

the neighbor has fruit trees and there are these peaches (did i say this already?) that i try and pick whenever i'm by there. when i picked one and took a bite, it was really warm

ifsa sent me some stuff through the mail. i probably won't use it

saw my boss today. she told me she'd be willing to give me an 'internship' with her non-profit if it was of any ehlp. i said i wasn't sure exactly how it would help, but that it would be a good thing to have on my resume nonetheless. she sgreed and i guess i'll have to follow up on that sometime this month. she asked me about school and life. told her i ended the semester with all a's. that i have my driving test on monday (finally!). that i was still pursuing my major and that i still wasn't sure what i wanted to do afterwards. higher education? law school? i don't know! i need to think about this more on my own to be honest. i have to do some introspecting. i guess law would be good financially, but at the moment i find myself more interested in academia. does law school count as academia? anyway, yeah. don't know. still have time to think
