paddington is one of those movies that people are afraid to admit is good. i watched it a little while ago and thought it was really well made. the plot was interesting, the bear had this innocent charisma to him that i really enjoyed watching develop. i really like the hard stare that he does. i was entertained by this children's movie more than i would have thought. anyway, dilver asked me what i wanted to watch and after a few moments of deliberation, i asked him if he'd seen paddington. he admitted that he too really liked it and that he had a similar moment with someone else. the other guy had also asked him if he'd watched paddington and efter that guy admitted to enjoying it, he did too. i don't think there should be shame in liking paddington or any children's movie in general. we then watched paddington two, which was just as enjoyable as the first
we ate pho for lunch. i didn't admit to him that this was my first time getting pho, but i'm sure he could tell just by how clueless i looked. the restaurant had avocado tea with tapioca, which i did not try. wasn't in the mood to experiment with that
the bus ride back was a mess because first, the bus got there late. i mean, it was convenient for me, since i was running late, but i waited on it for like half an hour. i saw people who were headed to new york lose their seats because they arrived at the last minute and megabus starts giving away empty seats five minutes before departures. that was unfortunate for them, but they were told another bus to new york was on the way, but that it too was running late. then there was traffic. i think. i fell asleep for most of the ride, up until about the delaware-penssylvania border. the welcome sign for pa said something along the lines of follow your dreams or something. took me even more time to get to campus. had to submit something by midnight so i took care of that on the train
