i guess i enjoy 'stirring pots'. it's fun. it gives me something to watch unfold. maybe it's just because mercury is in retrograde.
i went to d.c. i revisited the American history museum. hadn't been since senior year in high school. wanted to go to what my friends and i would call good eats but is actually called good stuff eatery. it's on m-street by Georgetown, which is a ways out from the mall. would've had to take a bus, and i left my metro card back home. did eat at some waffle place. saw the cherry blossoms from a distance
did come to baltimore to hang out with dilver. fell asleep on the marc from washignton to baltimore. it's crazy how fast the streets change, like, one minute, buildings are being demolished and are all broken and run down, then the next minute you're in a well off suburb with a store called 'moviestop' next to a gamestop. goucher looks like what i vaguely remember seeing over a year ago. he's doing well, which is great. happy for him. towson is also a neat little town. very new, but like, way better than Collegeville. i would say its better than phoenixville, though it doesn't have the same charm as phoenixville
he got me some ribs and insomnia cookies. feeling very grateful and blessed. i want him to visit me, but i think weekends at Ursinus are all downhill from here to graduation. so i don't think it would be good to come now, but i would be glad to have him and show him around campus and philly. we talked a bit about how we're doing. that awkward small talk that comes with not having seen each other in a year. then reminisced on some old stuff and talked about how our friends are. he gave me some clothes. i'm leaving a bit early tomorrow. there weren't many later buses but it's fine. i'll get to my room earlier. i mentioned my major to him
these comp sci assignments still aren't making sense!
the babadook was too much for him, haha
i'm glad we're still friends and that it doesn't feel weird or forced
