i didn't check my email until very late today. and in my inbox, there was thins angry email someone went through the hassle of typing out re: an opinion i wrote for my school's newspaper. my opinion was that the austin bomber was not labelled a terrorist because he is white. the person was angry saying that white people don't experience privilege. that muslims are terrorist because their religion is violent. that we live in a feminist country. that boys are somehow oppressed by the phrase, 'boys will be boys'. and then he wished ill-will on me, saying that he hoped i was mugged by 'gang bangers' for my air jordan tennis shoes, before inviting me to move to 'muslim-dominated' europe, where their friends are too scared to walk at night. a lot of the lingo used (gang bangers, air jordan tennis shoes(ha!)) hints that it's someone older. hell, i even hope it's just some bot because i don't want to believe someone is capable of writing something so ridiculous in earnest. there was no name attached, so whoever sent it is a coward or has coward tendencies. it gave me a good laugh and i printed it out. i posted it on my snapchat but i'll probably delete it in the morning. still, i hope this person realizes that they are wrong, and that they educate themselves better. i don't know. i just... i want them to find peace with the fact that the world is changing, and that old views like that (and old lingo too) shouldn't exist today. i hope they can come to terms with that

that email kind of made me forget about everything else that happened. it is the first of that kind for me, so it's understandable let's see... i um, i got an extension on an assignment. i took a long nap. monday night, i started playing 'plants vs zombies' again and today i finished the first run through adventure mode. might download the second version or continue playing this one. went to work, among other things
