i got my thumb smashed by a car door yesterday. the nail didn't fall off or break, which is good, but there is a visible, line-shaped bruise under the nail. it's uncomfortable to put too much pressure on it. this week needs to end

last night was the three-month mark for this blog. 93 posts (94 now with this one). i've been strangely commited to this blog, though i do remember almost giving up on new years. anyway maybe i will reach a year. who knows

still haven't made this 'agua de jamaica' and i've had the hibiscus for a while now. i haven't finished the books i took from the houston library and the due date is soon. gonna be racking up late fees
