i finally updated from ios ten to ios twelve. i got my battery replaced. took two visits to the galeria which sucked. also, no one in houston can dress. like, wearing yeezys isn't dressing well i don't think. but that's what seemingly everyone does when they go to the galleria. also kinda weird to think about how there was a cultural point in time where people would hang out at malls. i'd assume some people still do, but a couple decades ago or so it was the thing to do. i remember going to the mall with friends in like middle school. i never really liked it but i pretended to. just felt like something i was supposed to enjoy. i don't care for spending money. i did, however, buy these pants from urban. i think that was my second ever purchase from them, first one being a record i got online. the pants were six dollars. i could feasibly resell them on depop or something for twenty or so. am considering it
spent new year's eve with kaijah again. i realized this marked the third year in a row i'm with him during the turn of the calendar. even funnier was that two years ago we were two blocks away in that old people apartment complex. he described that as nostalgic. last year was that dinner and then that party in the heights. it wasn't a party this time. it was just a few of us, like six total. we mainly just talked and drank. at some point we turned on the snes and started playing 'donkey kong country'. we got to the level with the mine cart, which, admittedly, is pretty early in the game, but that was as far as we could go. none of us could beat that level. maybe it was cause we were all a little drunk, but still, it was hard. when i went home there was a distinct smoke smell from all the fireworks. it coupled with the fog that's been setting in at night for a couple weeks now. looked like syria out there
i did got to a new year's party the night of the first though. it was something a friend threw. i didn't really feel like going but my friends wanted me to. i got drunker than i thought, which was fine. i felt old there. it was mainly, if not entirely, people i knew from high school there. which is whatever, i don't have that same disdain for people from high school as what seems to be expected from me. i guess my issue was that with people two years removed being there, i just felt like they were so young and i had nothing to talk to them about. drinking made that easier since i could ramble on about anything without getting bored. still, don't think i'll go to another one of those
my sleep scheduled has flipped during the week. i'll sleep right after eating when i get home. which isn't good for my body but whatever. i wake up around three a.m. and then just stay up til the next evening. it corrects itself on weekends so i don't think this is a bad thing
the rockets are doing good now. does that mean tickets won't be like twelve dollars anymore?
how does the apple health app track 'sexual activity'? there's for sure a manual input, at least i'd assume, but can the apple watch track that too?
that employment app idea i had that was basically tinder for jobs, yeah, i realized that's just bumble bizz
gonna subscribe to the 'yeah, but still' patreon sometime in february probably. gonna need those extra episodes. though, if anyone already has a subscription and wants to 'share' that with me, i'm open to it. i would download a podcast (just kidding)
