christmas was fine. i didn't really do much. went to my sister's place but it felt forced. i wanted to go home, but my parents wouldn't let me. i gave maya sugar cane, which she seemed to enjoy. she likes to chew on things, so that was a pretty good gift, i feel

i deactivated facebook today. i think i want to log off most things, or all, for a while. i've felt trapped, or, restless as of late. figured i'd keep instagram and twitter for a bit, seeing as they're the ones i use the most. but idk. maybe just deleting the twitter app off my phone will be good enough. gonna try that

been listening to 'odessa' by caaribou a lot these past couple days. found that notable. i have to come up with a gift for a post christmas secret santa. gonna have to ship that too. yuck

i have been doing my best to avoid shopping on amazon. don't think i've bought anything on there in months. anyway my parents gave me an amazon gift card cause i guess i haven't gotten around to telling them i'm slowly trying to behave more ethically but that's my fault not theirs. anyway my bike needs that bar tape i mentioned, and i don't really want the red so i might use that card so i can save my real money. then i'll just take that to the bike shop and have them install it
