today i essentially did nothing of interest. didn't study for my sociology midterm and didn't work on my essay. no real regrets though

i did watch game one of the alcs between the astros and red sox. astros won, thank god. that gives me more confidence. i was telling myself that if they win game one, they'll win the series. if they lose game one, then it's more 'up for grabs'. even if they lose tomorrow, which is entirely possible, i'll be content with the split. i got some pizza and drank some beer. jaimie had gotten me some yuenglings, at my request. i think they're fine. they're definitely not the worst thing i could drink. but i looked into the brand and saw that the owner proudly supported trump during the presidential election. i don't particularly think boycotting everything with ties to republican is effective, or even feasible. regardless, i don't think i want to give them any more of my money if i can avoid it. like if someone offers me one, sure i'll drink it, but i'm not going to specifically look to purchase them for a while
