google maps gave me a different route into philly that i'd never taken before. we went mostly through local roads, only getting on seventy-six at the last stretch. i messed up a few time. pennsylvania roads aren't so clear. and the drivers here are worse. they're more selfish

the drive back was faster. i listened to all of playboi carti's self-titled mixtape. i still think that was the best release of 2017. it's certainly more fun that 'die lit' (2018). gas here is more expensive. i'm used to two-fifty and below a gallon but it's a minimum three dollars here

was looking at places to travel to next year. feeling hopeful

this girl in my class said she used to 'do art' full time before going to college. i don't know what that means. i don't know her name, so i can't like, look her up. she doesn't strike me as an artist. but seeing as she claims that, i would guess her style is more along the lines of target-chic wall art
