beto and cruz had a debate today. the first one between the two. if i'm being frank, i would say cruz won the debate. i don't like admitting that, but his points did garner more cheer than beto's. the crowd was more adversarial towards beto, too. cruz was playing dirty. like, he tugged at the emotions of people instead of addressing points. he used backhanded compliments, especially at the end when he was supposed to say what he admired about beto.
