i saw someone say that there needs to be more overtly pan representation in star wars, which, like, what does that even mean? i know people were annoyed when lando was described as pan, since it seemed like an after thought to market to the lgbt community, but what does overtly pan even mean? do weird, counterculture aesthetics like hair die and piercings somehow make someone pan? or do they have to be depicted as hooking up or expressing their sexuality vocally? i'm not sure what the argument there was. and to be frank, i don't actually care to find an explanation
