alexandria ocasio cortez won her election. that's wild. i feel mad hopeful. she ran an openly 'socialist' platform and won. electoral politics are largely bullshit, but it feels so good when someone progressive wins and inspires some hope. i'm ready to see all the follow up articles celebrating her
that being said, there's gonna be a lot of people trying to discredit her and the ideas she campaigned on. from both republicans and dems. but whatever, they can fuck off
i want to talk to jay about this. i feel like we could have a very optimistic conversation about this
been getting back into 'foster the people' thanks to all the research i did on feiyues. turns out the original ones are cheap chinese ones, and the seventy dollar ones are a french brand that improved on the quality of them and up-charged them. i ordered some on ebay for twelve dollars. says they'll arrive between the ninth and the twenty-ninth of july. hopefully the former. got the white with red and blue. what if the person who i saw wearing them sees me wearing them, since she frequents the store. would be weird. i just won't wear them there
also also i turn twenty in a week and that doesn't feel real i still feel eighteen and probably will continue to feel that way until i'm twenty one and can go drink at bars or whatever people do when they are 'legal'
