had a moment similar to the rhinoceros moment but with sufjan stevens. stevens stopped making sense, like, there was no possible way that could be his last name, and i began to feel like i had been living a lie, that there was no way that could be it and that it was some sort of mandela effect or something. but then the moment passed and i felt fine again

craiglist got rid of it's personels section, which sucks. i used to people watch on there. it was alway interesting to see what people posted, though a lot of the times it felt like they were just automated or copy-paste posts

the country cares more about the parkland high schoolers than black an poc youth that advocate for gun reform because they are predominantly white. you can't change my mind on this. just look at the times cover that features them. three of the five teens are blatantly white and the other two may not be, but are definitely white passing. their school is shot up and suddenly everyone cares about what they have to say about gun violence, but the youth in chicago, philadelphia, baltimore have all dealt with gun violence in a much more present way, and no one gives them even a fraction of the attention that the parkland students have gotten. mass shootings are terrible, but they aren't a major contributor to gun deaths. regular crime in the aforementioned cities lead to more deaths. suicide does too. but yes, lets keep listening to the parkland students over all the black teens that have been campaigning for gun reform for years. also, the austin bomber was white and i doubt any major news outlet will call him a terrorist, even though he did blow things up, and even committed suicide via bombing. he's just troubled!

i don't really like to rant about political things on here. i don't think i need to attach my politics to my identity. so, i don't think i'll do that again anytime soon

i often see typos on these things after i post and am away from my computer. i think about going back and correcting them, but i never actually sit myself down to do it. i just want to make it clear i am aware there are typos that may make what i say ore difficult to understand, even though i may never go back an change them. also disregard any capitalized letters. there shouldn't be any of those either
